The desire I have to be creative and produce art work stemmed from my father who excelled in artistic design. Whether in gardening, furniture building or drawing he had the ability to express himself imaginatively.
In 1989 I visited a home that featured one-of-a-kind stained glass windows. The color, texture and beauty of the glass captured my imagination and motivated me to learn the art and technique of stained glass.
As my inventory continued to grow I decided to enter local art festivals in Georgia. Some of these have included Inman Park, Atlanta, Art in the Park in Marietta, Virginia Highlands in Atlanta and Roswell Flower of the Arts Festival in Roswell. I have had the privilege to work with clients on custom design and color choices, satisfying their desire for a unique piece of stained glass.
I am so grateful to my husband David who has always supported and encouraged me to pursue my artistic endeavors. His assistance and participation in the art shows has been invaluable and together we continue to explore this exciting venue.
These small beginnings have evolved into a fulfilling lifetime experience and the achievements I have made over the years have been very rewarding and satisfying.
